Love, Peace, Hope, Joy.

The words love, hope, peace and joy used to be just words to Me.
But after really being depressed and stressed I gave all my problems to God and I'm trusting him to take care of me.
The other day I was feeling really bad and I got really mad and upset when some girl was being insensitive about my grandpa's  death. She probably didn't know it but it still hurt me all the same.
So anyway I was feeling horrible and I had been fighting with my mom and so I was upset.
And then I thought of the song "Something in the water"  by Carrie Underwood. And in the song she talks about giving everything bad over to God and she found love, and strength and now she is changed.
So I went in my bedroom,  I fell to my knees,  and I asked God to forgive me for not trusting him when I know I should have,  and I gave him everything. I'm happy now. I am loved by God,  I can hope in God, I get Joy from God and and most importantly to me I have found peace in God.

The Lord is my strength and my shield ; in him my heart trusts and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.
Psalm 28:7

So now faith, hope and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13

And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:7

God's Art.

I walked out to the fence where my land stops and my neighbors starts. I was only there to catch the fighting cats, but something else stopped me. It was the beauty. The lovely pond, the wonderful blue sky, and the endless trees and magnificent fields. As I rocked back and forth on  the wire fence, admiring the serene beauty I started to think. This is God's art. Some see a weed, I see a wish.

Have you ever seen one of these? Well many people call it a weed.  But what I see is a wish.  A prayer really.  Whatever I wish for  I pray about to.  So for me it's a reminder to pray.  Then I just pray about so much more so that "weed"  helps me spend more time with God.  What is it you see?
