God is in Control.
Today was warm enough to let our little kittens outside. Okay they're not so little, they're four months old.
Anyway.... So after awhile the kittens came in but we couldn't find one. Little Kamri was no where to be seen. We looked and looked but couldn't find her. My siblings told me she probably was just under the house and that she would come out when she was hungry. But I wasn't satisfied. After looking awhile more and I finally just made peace that she would come out when she was hungry. So I went inside and layed down in my bed. Still praying for Kamri, I grabbed a note I had left for myself. It had a bible verse I wanted to remind myself to study about. I grabbed my Bible and read it. I then continued to flip around in my Bible and found something entitled "The Lost Animals."
Perfect for my situation! It was in 1 Samuel chapter 9.
"And the asses of Kish Saul's father were lost. And Kish said to Saul his son, Take now one of the servants with you, and arise, go seek the asses." - 1 Samuel 9:3
I continued reading till chapter 10 and I came upon this verse: "And as for your asses that were lost three days ago, set not your mind on them; for they are found. And on whom is all the desire of Israel? Is it not on you, and on all yours father's house? - 1 Samuel 9:20
The amazing thing is, as soon as I read the part about the asses being found my brother rushed in the house with Kamri in his arms screaming "I found her!"
Like seriously, the second I read "For they are found" Kamri was found!
My message is, Miracles do happen, God is in control, and that God has a plan in EVERYTHING. God has already conquered fear. He goes before us, with us, and after us. His ways are ALWAYS best. All of my worry about Kamri was just plain dumb. Why worry when The Greatest One is in control of EVERY situation? GOD IS GOOD!
